Representational

The observation of objects and people is in itself a mindful practice.  One begins to see the nuances of light and color that is not noticed by the casual observer.  It is in representation that form, structure, color, light, and shadow come together at the same time.  Through careful observation, we truly begin to understand the world around us.  This is one of the key principles that I have found to be true for both art and science.
