Collages

Here I got to bring some of my favorite things together: science, color, and books.  Collage allows a play with materials that you might not encounter with traditional materials like in oil painting.  Using found medical dictionaries and other science based books; I took scientific illustrations and actual pages from books for these pieces.  An abstract play with atmospheric color lends a base for the collaged paper and screen-printed images.
